About

I began my editorial career in the UK in 2009 after completing an MA (Hons) in Publishing at Oxford Brookes University. I then spent the next ten years working in editorial roles within the English Language Teaching (ELT) departments of Oxford University Press and Cambridge University Press. My first role in Oxford was as a Production Editor, creating supplementary materials to accompany flagship courses for Adult English learners. In Cambridge, I progressed to the position of Senior Managing Editor, with overall responsibility for managing ELT customization projects for Asia.

In 2018, I started my own business as an editorial freelancer specializing in education and non-fiction publishing. This move has enabled me to work on a much broader range of products. As well as English Language Teaching I provide services to the education divisions of Penguin Random House and DK in London. I also edit English coursebooks for publishers in Switzerland, Sweden and Germany and edit documentation for a prestigious business school in Lausanne. In 2020, I moved to Germany where I have continued to grow my business and client base.

I love food and drink and train travel. And when I'm not working, I'm most likely jogging, swimming or cycling around somewhere in Frankfurt.
